Firelands takes place in the Elemental plane and puts six bosses between you and a new, "reinvigorated" Ragnaros.
Located within the Elemental Plane, the Firelands is an all-new raid featuring normal and Heroic difficulties! Battle-hardened veterans of the Horde and Alliance now have an opportunity to strike at Ragnaros the Firelord and his loyal servants by venturing into their domain via Sulfuron Spire in Mount Hyjal.
As territory is gained and Azeroth’s champions edge closer to the Firelands’ inner sanctums, a monumental task lies ahead. Entrenched around Ragnaros’s lair — Sulfuron Keep — are his most trusted guardians, including the turncoat Druids of the Flame and their mysterious leader.

Nerfing the Tier 11 raids during Tier 12 is very much welcome. It’ll give let people finish them in 4.2 if they haven’t done so already. It’s also going to be a nice way to quickly gear up your alts too. Despite the vocal minority kicking up a fuss, it doesn’t affect them and Blizzard always nerf outdated content when a new content patch is released.
